Remember when I posted about this Silhouette giveaway? Well, I didn't win.
However, my super, wonderful, amazing husband bought me one for Christmas and my birthday (which is Sunday). We got it on Cyber Monday so it was cheaper plus came with some cool free stuff!
Well, if you read my previous post you know we haven't slowed down. So I hadn't even taken it out of the box..until today. And oh my heavens am I going to have a blast with this thing!! I was reading the tutorials online and was almost overwhelmed at all it can do! I CANNOT wait to get started on Brody' birthday party so I can put it to good use. And crafts for the kids. And homemade cards. And home decor. And oh my goodness so much more. So, if anyone wants to plan a fun Silhouette playdate, let me know!
Thank you Matty for such an amazing gift! Even though I picked it out myself, I love it as much as if it were a surprise!!

Silhouette Giveaway
*Sorry, I had to re-post bc I forgot to link to the sites.
I normally don't post these on here...but this is a good one. And one that I really want.
I'm in love with Kara's Party Ideas. My friend Kristin referred me to her site and now its in my reader so I can see what new party ideas she's featuring. I found Brody's birthday party idea on this site and can't wait to put it all into action in January.
Well, she is hosting a giveaway for this amazing craft cutter..the Silhouette. If you know what at Cricut is, its similar, but doesn't use cartridges. To me, that's amazing! You can just create something on the computer and have it print to the Silhouette and voila! You have a piece of art! Cute shapes for crafts and cards, print out a word on vinyl to stick on your wall, I could go on and on and on with the many uses of this.
So I'm blogging this so that I can get another entry into the giveaway :) So you should go enter to!!

Kid Craft Ideas
Calling all crafty, creative moms out there. I already have a few of you in mind so I better get some response from you :)
Brody craves artistic, engaging playtime these days. He wants someone playing on the floor with him, coloring, doing puzzles, going over letters, etc. And I'm stuck in a rut. I feel like we do the same things everyday and he definitely gets bored. He's at an age where I think he would really enjoy doing crafts so I've been researching online. There are so many ideas its overwhelming.
So I'm coming to you for help. I need ideas for a 2 1/2 year old. Letter and number activities, animal activities, painting, glueing, coloring, everything. Anything you've tried that your child loves.
Are there certain links you use to get ideas?
Also, where have you found a good deal on craft supplies? I plan on hitting up Target, Michaels and Hobby Lobby but I don't want to spend a fortune.
Come through for me moms. I won't name names but I expect a comment from a few of you in particular :)
