Howdy! We're Matt and Larra. We met in college at Texas A&M (WHOOP!) while working at a bookstore. We were married in March 2006 and now have 3 loud, energetic, precious, loving boys who keep us on our toes. So I (Larra) get to be the queen of the house and I don't think I'd have it any other way. All my boys sure know how to make me feel special.
We love our savior Jesus Christ and try to live a life that glorifies him. We have been saved by grace, through faith and know that it is only through Him that we receive eternal life. We absolutely love our church family and serving alongside them on different ministry teams and in the community. We love missions and hope to have the opportunity to serve on trips around the world to help spread the gospel of Christ and help those in need. We love to travel together and are working our way around the country on getaways as we get the chance. Hopefully we'll be able to share lots of fun photos with you!
Matt is the vice-president of his dad's taxidermy business and let me tell you, they are LEGIT! They mount deer and exotic animals for famous people. He is a proud member for the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of '07!
I (Larra) stay at home with the kiddos and love my job. I spend my days doing crafts, building ramps for cars and singing songs. During my "mommy" time I coupon, explore fun ways to save money, organize, organize, organize, attempt home decor projects and design in Photoshop. Oh yea, and blog. We are super excited about the summer and spending the days at the pool and splash pad with our friends! I am a proud member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of '06!
In 2011, we started a second blog, Brody's Walk, to share about our oldest son's journey through life with a condition called Charcot-Marie-Toothe. To read about his journey and the ways the Lord is continuing to prove Himself, check out the links on the side.
We moved into a new home a year ago and are still having a blast updating, doing projects and decorating. We hope to pass those ideas along to you here on this blog, as well as the fun we have with our boys! So join us in this crazy ride we call life!
ps... Although I love documenting our life as a family, and I obsess over organizing, craft and home decor blogs, we don't blog to become famous or make money. (although if someone wanted to pay me I wouldn't mind.) We simply do it to share with our family and friends, and to create a digital scrapbook to look back on.
