Its Growing...slowly but surely

This pic was taken Saturday, Aug 4. I was 11 weeks and 5 days. Now I am over 12 weeks and through my first trimester. I've made it over the first hurdle..2 more to go! It has been rough..but very worth it. We thank the Lord every single day for what He has done in our lives over the last 10 months.

I love that I can't fit in to any of my own clothes...and that all the pants I wear have been given to me by friends!

So now on to the fun stuff! We find out next month if we are having a boy or a girl and we've had a few requests for a poll. So..what do you think? Boy or Girl? I have absolutely no instict at all telling me what I have inside!

  1. My guess is that you are having a sweet little girl! You will have to lock her up until she is 50 though if she has big beautiful brown eyes like her momma!

    Can't wait to find out!
    Love you,

  2. Well, I just want a healthy grandbaby. Doesn't really matter what the sex is. If I could choose I would have to say a girl and I would want her to be just like her momma. Dark brown curly hair with chinkapin eyes and deep dimples in her cheeks. But I know God has the best baby picked out for the two of you, so whatever He decides will be great with me.

    Looking forward to Sept.
    Love ya!

  3. For some reason I just can't shake the girl feeling! I'm thinking pink!

But I will say that Asher would love to have "B-----" as a best friend--(I didn't want to give the name away incase it's a secret or it hasn't been revealed publicly yet!)

It's a race to see who has the first girl between the Palermo's and little unconceived Emma Catherine Shipley for Asher's betrothal...although, Karis Clements is also in the running. We'll see who offers the best dowry!

  4. And put me down for a GIRL, too!

Good luck against the Living Hope odds, though!

  5. The name's not a secret..the boy name is Brody. And the girl name is Kinley. Don't know how much of a dowry we can offer though.

Matt's vote is a boy. He's gone back and forth. I think I would vote boy too. I find myself unconciously saying "him" or "Brody" when I refer to the baby.

So far thats 4 girl votes from everyone else..and we say boy. haha.

  6. I'm thinking a girl. :) Can't wait to find out! When you find out what it is, it's kind of like meeting him or her for the first time. It's so cool!

  7. Ahhh...I am so unsure...I know it is 50/50 but hmmm...I am with Tina. I want a healthy niece or nephew, so either will be WONDERFUL. But, if I am guessing...I will guess a boy???

  8. I guess a beautiful little girl!!! Yay! and I LOVE the name Kinley!

  9. Can't wait to find out! I am so excited! My mom was in the theatre with you all and she loved the experience with you ladies...all she could talk about were the adorable women dressed up in the theatre. Hilarious! So glad that you went.

  10. I would have to say I have a feeling it's a boy! I think you look so incredibly cute so far! I can't wait to see that little tiny body all big and pregnant! You are going to so CUTE! Probably still tiny with a little basketball belly! I am, again, so happy that everything is going great with the pregnancy! God is awesome-isn't he?! And I love the Hairspray blog-sounds like it was a blast! Ok love you girl! TTYL!

  11. Kinley is a great name. I think it's a girl and I'm pretty good at this apparently. I was right with Taylor Joy and with ??????? in my tummy (not sharing the name yet...). Yes, I'm sure she will have dark hair and dimples just like you. Dimples are SO cute on babies! When do you find out? It seems so soon!

  12. Kendra..I totally understand on not sharing the name. We felt that way for a long time..and then got nervous because there are so many babies coming..we thought we better claim the names haha. silly. We find out at our sept appt what we are probably around sept 20. Can't wait! Oh, and congrats on the baby boy!

  13. ok, you know what my guess is but i will post it. ITS A GIRL!!!! We shall be for certain sometime about Feb. 20th ha ha

    Love you, Nikki
